Sadly, that headline is meant figuratively.
With the push for privatization (or at least modernization) still putting pressure on the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, they have released a free iPod app, meant to make the stores more accessible and hassle-free for the customer.
According to the Inquirer, ?[the] app lets users search the location of their nearest wine and spirits store, peruse the latest list of wines and other products on sale, order wine for home delivery, and locate the closest and cheapest state store to buy a favorite bottle.?
The app, called Fine Wine & Good Spirits, is available now and will be available on Droids soon. Hopefully this works out better than the PLCB?s last technological foray (those doomed, dreaded wine kiosks).
